1 – APPL Team ProShop Update!
Don’t forget to explore your updated APPL (Gear & Gifts) Team ProShop! We’ve partnered with PickleHigh®, our official gear provider, who has added new items as we get ready for our next season. Our goal is to help grow awareness of APPL and the exciting, team-based league play we’ve proudly offered for years. We hope you’ll wear your APPL gear with pride as a member of the largest team pickleball league in America—not just Arizona!

2 – Help Us Grow Our Social Media Presence!
We’re working to strengthen APPL’s presence on Facebook and Instagram, and we’re looking for one volunteer to help lead the charge. This person will work closely with a few of our marketing support team members to develop and manage our social media efforts.

If you’re experienced with social platforms, enjoy collaboration, and have some time to contribute, we’d love to hear from you. Please let your League Coordinator know if you’re interested, and they’ll pass your information along to the project lead.

3 – Big News: National Championship Event Confirmed!
In our June newsletter Greg Mather mentioned we were forming a new organization ATPL(American Team Pickleball League) and to stay tuned for some more information regarding a potential National Championship event for our State Champions to compete against team champions from other states. We are delighted to announce we are moving forward with an event planned to be held this year end at the Pueblo El Mirage Pickleball Complex November 6
thru 9.

Initial data looks like we will have 10 divisions competing which is 2 more than we had at last year’s Hilton Head event.  Depending on the number of teams attending we may be able to invite a few additional teams to compete for national honors.   APPL’s ATPL Coordinators, Jan Garcia (Southern and Casa Grande) and Jan Harding (East Valley and West Valley), will be contacting the appropriate Team Captains with more details by next week.
