Hello APPL Players,

We want to make everyone aware of an issue that has been popping up more frequently: knockoff paddles that look very close to the originally branded paddles.

Please review the following reminders to help ensure safe and fair matches for everyone:

• Only USA Pickleball–approved paddles may be used in APPL matches.
• Knockoff or counterfeit paddles are not USA Pickleball approved and are not permitted for league play.
• If you are unsure whether your paddle is approved, please check the USA Pickleball Approved Paddle List before your match.
• If a player’s paddle is identified to be a knockoff or non-approved paddle, the player must switch to a USA Pickleball approved paddle.
• We understand that some players may unknowingly purchase knockoff paddles. This reminder is intended to educate and prevent issues—not penalize honest mistakes.
• Captains, please ensure your team is playing with approved paddles.
