Roster Rating Standard Appeal

George is over 70 and wants to play in the newly formed 70+ 3.5 league. He lives at Saddlebrooke ranch. They do not allow outside players on their teams. He would make the 6th player. Unsure if it will be quad format or regular.

His rating since 2022 has been in the high 3.5's. He got bumped up over 4.01 on a three game forfeit from another team. His highest rating was a 4.05. He has no valid dupr and his pb brackets is all blurred out so I can't access it. His dupr rating of 4.42 is from 2022 with only one game, not match recorded last year and the year before. They were both appl games and neither one of them was validated by the other party.

2025 he won 14 games, lost 10 He scored 8 appl points in 10 losses and had 5 appl points scored against him in 14 wins. His record was generally split games.

George sees a podiatrist for chronic foot pain for the past three years.

Due to the 4.01 rating, wanting to play the over 70's team....recommend the approval.

Dana started at 3.30 and ended at 3.30 after 32 games. she had 14 wins and 18 losses. She earned 10 appl points in the 18 losses and gave up 6 appl points in the 14 wins.

The highest she ever got was a 3.38. Never reached 3.5.
I don't think it warrants the 3.5 request.

This player has steadily declined since her start at 3.7 in 2024. She ended the mixed season in 2024 at 3.24. 2025 she played gender doubles and only raised her rating by .09. She played six matches all with the same partner. They won 14 games and lost 22. They scored 4 appl points in their 22 losses and allowed 8 appl points in their 14 wins. Her dupr rating is 3.239 and she has no history in pickleball brackets. I do not believe that the fact that she disagrees with her rating is sufficient to warrant and increased rating for appeal to 3.5

George played 9 matches last year. He won 17 games and lost 10. He had 8 appl points earned and 6 allowed.

He played on a 65+ team and states he will be 72 this year. Three of the wins come due to a forfeit.

He states he has neuropathy in his feet and arthritis. His index is 4.01. He wants to play 3.5 again due to the increasing pain levels. He has disabled plates on his car he states.

It appears Saddlebrook adds their APPL matches into Dupr. His dupr is 4.42 HOWEVER there are only two appl matches in it that are fairly current and one has not been validated. The other ratings come from 2022.

Since he will be playing in the 65+ league I recommend we approve the rating of 3.5 as he is only 4.01 and the highest he got last year was 4.05. Neuropathy makes it very hard to play so I don't feel he has any advantage.

Scott wants to appeal down from a 4.06 to a 3.5 which he played at last year. He is over 65
If the teams hold up the same as they did last year his only option will be to play 50/65+ 4.0/4.5

He played all 8 matches. He won 33 games and lost 19. that is a 78% win rate.
He accrued 9 appl points in the 19 losses and allowed 7 in the 33 wins.
This is a tough one. He dominated last year. He is not far over 4.0 and yet he will be a huge disadvantage if he moves up.....He went over 4.0 in his last match.

Tracey has a dupr of 3.896 and is .01 off of an auto appeal. She won 10 games and lost 14 she accrued 8 appl points while allowing only 3.

Tracey may have lost quite a few games but actually split 6 of those 14 losses. Only once did she actually go over 3.5 last season but I feel that her dupr and the close number to the auto appeal should allow the appeal to be approved

he won 15 games and lost 3 last year with a different partner each match. his dupr is 4.016. I have seen him play at ACE and he is definitely a 4.0

He plays as a mixed doubles partner with a 4.5 player that I know well.

Recommend approval even though it is up two levels. He was obviously miss assigned.
