Roster Rating Standard Appeal

Scott wants to appeal down from a 4.06 to a 3.5 which he played at last year. He is over 65
If the teams hold up the same as they did last year his only option will be to play 50/65+ 4.0/4.5

He played all 8 matches. He won 33 games and lost 19. that is a 78% win rate.
He accrued 9 appl points in the 19 losses and allowed 7 in the 33 wins.
This is a tough one. He dominated last year. He is not far over 4.0 and yet he will be a huge disadvantage if he moves up.....He went over 4.0 in his last match.

This player has steadily declined since her start at 3.7 in 2024. She ended the mixed season in 2024 at 3.24. 2025 she played gender doubles and only raised her rating by .09. She played six matches all with the same partner. They won 14 games and lost 22. They scored 4 appl points in their 22 losses and allowed 8 appl points in their 14 wins. Her dupr rating is 3.239 and she has no history in pickleball brackets. I do not believe that the fact that she disagrees with her rating is sufficient to warrant and increased rating for appeal to 3.5

Robert played 34 games last yea He lost 24 mens doubles matches, won 3. He lost 4 mixed double and won 3. He earned 6 appl points in mens doubles and allowed 2. He won 3 apple points in mixed and allowed two.

He struggled all year with leg issues eventually having surgery to correct it. He states that subs scores might have been attributed to him but I would have know way of knowing if this was accurate.

He played in 65+ last year and can do so again this year if he so chooses. In adding up all matches both doubles and mixed his average rating is a 2.9. I believe that he should be granted the appeal based on that, due to the unknown of whose scores are actually entered and no way to find out. If he chooses to play 65+ he is able to regardless.

I am very familiar with this player. I was a sub on her team last year and played with her in two matches. We had never been on the court together before these matches. We did will winning approximately 50% of the games and getting the APPL point in the majority of the games. The team went on to win State. Renee played only four matches all year, two with me and two with a 4.18 player. Their results were similar to mine. At state only one of the matches was reported. Renee played with yet two new partners at state. Renee is a very strong player coming from a high level tennis background. She had her knee replaced two years ago so was unable to play that season. She came back this year very strong. She is one of the players that people like to play with as she understands strategy and is thoughtful about how her shot affect her partner. She drills with me and plays multiple times pers week in round robin play with 4.0 to 4.5 players. Her rating has steadily increased over the years and given the right partnership this year on our team, she will likely raise her rating to over 4.0. I believer her play style and play lever warrant the rating of 4.0

Paul has played MXD with his wife as his partner for 3 years. She actually applied for an appeal from 4.07 to 4.0 which we denied. We told her that her partner could apply for an appeal up and would have a better chance for approval.

He played only one game in 2025. Not even one match. Wants to appeal to 3.5

He will be 64 in 2026 and have to play on a 50+ team. Rating is 4.08

in 2023 he played in 65+ and 55+ age groups. Played with same partner most of the matches. Their ratings were into the 4.0's and other opponents were in 3.75-3.8 on average.

He started 2024 at 4.22 in a 3.5 league....I have no idea how that happens. His rating went as high as 4.32. It dropped toward the end of the season to 4.0-4.1 range while in 3.5 league.

For the past two years he has played on a 3.5 team with a higher than 4.0 rating...... while he will be the oldest in that age group he also has shown that he can play at 4.0. Does the injury and complication give him the gift of being overrated for a third year in a row???? Last time his rating was below 4.0 2/23
