Since we cannot use White Mountain ratings and I have no access to anything other than the southern region I am unable to look anything up. With that being said, Helen has applied on a medical appeal. PER HELEN In March of 2025 I was diagnosed with Acanthamoeba Keratitis and as a result of the infection I am currently blind in my left eye. I have been unable to play pickleball at all for almost 6 months. I was on a team up in the White Mountains this summer but because of the pain, doctor's appointments in Tucson, and the inability to play at a competitive level with my team I did not participate. I am just getting back on the courts and doing the best I can with one eye. I am hoping to have a cornea transplant once they eye tissue is healthy enough, but even then, it is uncertain if I will have my sight back. Since she did not play at. all this season and. her APPl rating from the Southern Region is stale, I would like to have her approved either as a self-rated player or allow her appeal to the 3.0 level being only .02 above 4 years ago. She is blind in one eye which would make depth perception almost impossible. I ask that she be approved. | |

He helped his partner go up by .25 while he also increased by .14 seems to me he earned his new rating with all his hard work..... recommend denying the appeal. |

They were both appl games and neither one of them was validated by the other party. 2025 he won 14 games, lost 10 He scored 8 appl points in 10 losses and had 5 appl points scored against him in 14 wins. His record was generally split games. George sees a podiatrist for chronic foot pain for the past three years. Due to the 4.01 rating, wanting to play the over 70's team....recommend the approval. | |

Since he will be playing in the 65+ league I recommend we approve the rating of 3.5 as he is only 4.01 and the highest he got last year was 4.05. Neuropathy makes it very hard to play so I don't feel he has any advantage. | |

He did better within the mixed, he played regularly with his wife. In his mixed matches he jumped .09 in the first three games. then he dropped down .01 in next two and back up 1.12 in the third one. in mens he dropped .01, then went back up 1.01 and then down. .01 and then back up 1.12. While he says he 'didn't win anything' in tournaments he regularly took silver and one bronze. That means he made it to the medal rounds. This was in 4.0. these were in 21-23 His dupr is currently 4.475 and stale since 2023. At one time his dupr got as high as 4.771 in 23. He may not have competed in the last couple of years but he played 61 games last year which definitely gives a picture of what he is capable of even though he says 60 is not enough to give him an index. He will end up playing in the same league next year as he did this year with combined 4.0 and 4.5. I think he will do well and should be a 4.5 |
