Roster Rating Standard Appeal

he won 15 games and lost 3 last year with a different partner each match. his dupr is 4.016. I have seen him play at ACE and he is definitely a 4.0

He plays as a mixed doubles partner with a 4.5 player that I know well.

Recommend approval even though it is up two levels. He was obviously miss assigned.

This last season was my first year playing AAPL. It was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed the team approach and am really looking forward to next season. I played this year on a 3.0 team, my team was a great group of guys. During our first match we realized I should have been playing on a higher level team. The other team complained, so from that point forward I did not play a lot and was asked to "go easy" the rest of the season and give up some APPL points here and there so we did not get any more complaints, since none of our team matches were at all close during the regular season. I think the best place for me to play at this next season is 4.0 or higher, so I am requesting an appeal to 4.0. I have been asked to play on several 4.0 teams for the upcoming season, and I think I would be one of the stronger players at that level. I have been playing at this level consistently in large tournaments and medaling often. At the PPA event in Tucson February this year I medaled in all 3 events at 4.0 (gold, silver, and bronze) in singles, men's and mixed. I really want to play on a team I can not only contribute, but play with people of similar skill so I can can continue to get better, have fun, and have some good competition. Thanks so much!
