I am a middle skill player for my current team, Team One, and other middle skill players on our team are indexed just below or around 3.0, but not me. 2024 was my first year in APPL, and my skills in 2024 were far inferior to my skills in 2025. At the end of the 2024 season my index rating was 2.74, and at the end of 2025 my index rating dropped to 2.54, even though my skills were stronger in 2025. Since the spring of 2024 I have been playing 3-4 times per week, participating in clinics and taking lessons. My teammates commented that I had greatly improved during the 2025 season, yet my index rating decreased from 2.74 to 2.54. Our team did not win a lot of matches in 2025, but I played better than I did in 2024, and won some games. I do not think my index is reflective of my playing level, and I am requesting that I have a roster rating of 3.0. Thank you for your consideration.
