Earl's INDEX has consistently gone down since '22 /'23
playing first in the East Valley. Earl moved to Casa Grande region in 24 and 25 for less competition because of his back issues. His Index continued to decline even in Casa Grande. Early ended the 25 season with a 3.33 rating. Earl feels he needs to be able to play safely in East Valley at 3.0.
His last rating in East Valley from 2023 was 3.61 which does not reflect his recent play.

I went to the Casa Grande region to play in 2024/2025 because there were fewer teams and less competition. I was having major back issues and was not getting a lot of success in recovery, except with pain pills. Even in Casa Grande my rating continued to decline when playing at 3.5 and I felt I was in a higher skill level than I could compete safely at.
My back has not gotten any better but I would like to find a 3.0 team where I feel would be a better spot for me to play and maybe my rating will not continue to decline at that level.
I play currently in 3.0 round robins and with 3.0 players. I do not play tournaments anymore and play more for the fun of it and for the social interaction.
My end Casa Grande rating was 3.33, 3.0 Roster rating
So I have continually declined every year.
