Roster Rating Standard Appeal

Ruth is wanting to play 4.0 up from 3.52. At first glance you would think no way. However Her dupr is 3.88. She has 162 wins and 246 losses in her dupr rating. It is a solid rating.

Her tournament play shows that she can hang at 4.0.
To add some credence to my improvement claims I will list the tournaments I played in this spring/summer with my accomplishments from them.
* July 2025 Rock Chuck Tournament - Gold Medal in the Women's 4.0
* July 2025 Pacific Northwest Classic Tournament - Bronze Medal in the Women's 4.0
* July 2025 Pacific Northwest Classic Tournament - Bronze Medal in the Mixed 4.0
* August 2025 Sunriver, OR Pickleball Club Tournament - Gold Medal in the Women's 4.0/4.5
* September 2025 - Sunriver Slam Tournament - Qualified for the Bronze Medal Match in the Women's 4.0 but ended up 4th.

I recommend we grant the appeal.

1. This first disagreement may sound like a whine, but it is definitely not intended as such. Having been a captain the last 3 years, I have many times agreed to play with team members that no one else wanted to play with. Our team philosophy for those years was "if you pay, you deserve to play". Where I did not mind playing with these players, In my opinion this often leads to "it's not necessarily 'HOW' you play, but 'WHO' you play with" and this can very negatively affect ones rating. I feel this is partly affecting my rating as my partner's rating on the 50+ 4.0 team (with whom most of my games were played with) stayed at 4.0 while mine dropped. I feel much of this happened because of the scores on the 65+ 4.0 women's team I also played on.
2. I would like to request that the statistics from our Women's 50+ 4.0 Drop Squad match with the 18+ team be removed from my rating as it dropped my rating some.
3. Over the summer I have played primarily with a group of mixed players that are all rated 4.0 to 5.0. I have routinely held my own in these games and the quality play has very much helped to improve my game. I have also attended several clinics and have had personal coaching sessions with a certified teacher.
