I have mixed feelings. This person has no documentable history of her skills either in pickleball or tennis since 2022.. My tennis playing friends state that a 4.0 tennis is like a 3.5 pickleball. She states she plays with 4.0 players but what does that even mean? Her rating from 2022 is 3.69. I feel that the fact that she had no documentation is too great. Her Dupr is 3.545. She has no pickleball brackets account. She has 2 wins and 6 losses in 3.5 in Dupr with the most recent one played in 2024

This player has steadily declined since her start at 3.7 in 2024. She ended the mixed season in 2024 at 3.24. 2025 she played gender doubles and only raised her rating by .09. She played six matches all with the same partner. They won 14 games and lost 22. They scored 4 appl points in their 22 losses and allowed 8 appl points in their 14 wins. Her dupr rating is 3.239 and she has no history in pickleball brackets. I do not believe that the fact that she disagrees with her rating is sufficient to warrant and increased rating for appeal to 3.5

I am very familiar with this player. I was a sub on her team last year and played with her in two matches. We had never been on the court together before these matches. We did will winning approximately 50% of the games and getting the APPL point in the majority of the games. The team went on to win State. Renee played only four matches all year, two with me and two with a 4.18 player. Their results were similar to mine. At state only one of the matches was reported. Renee played with yet two new partners at state. Renee is a very strong player coming from a high level tennis background. She had her knee replaced two years ago so was unable to play that season. She came back this year very strong. She is one of the players that people like to play with as she understands strategy and is thoughtful about how her shot affect her partner. She drills with me and plays multiple times pers week in round robin play with 4.0 to 4.5 players. Her rating has steadily increased over the years and given the right partnership this year on our team, she will likely raise her rating to over 4.0. I believer her play style and play lever warrant the rating of 4.0

Bill has played on two teams this past year. He attached medical documentation of his arm being injured. His play in 2024 was steady just over the 3.0 mark. You can see the drop as 2025 goes along that lines up with this arm injury.
I am for allowing him to appeal up. He is only.02 off of an auto appeal.

he won 15 games and lost 3 last year with a different partner each match. his dupr is 4.016. I have seen him play at ACE and he is definitely a 4.0

He plays as a mixed doubles partner with a 4.5 player that I know well.

Recommend approval even though it is up two levels. He was obviously miss assigned.

The only thing that makes me want to honor the appeal is the injury and the dupr rating. Her wins and loses do not support it but at 72 she is still playing so maybe she earns it by determination.
